In 2005, James was a 39 year old smoker. He had been very fit when he was younger but had let his fitness slip a bit. (Actually a 15-year slide). As a new year’s resolution James decided to quit smoking. He did this by reading Allen Carr’s The Easy Way To Stop Smoking and by entering the London Triathlon as a focal point to keep on track.Fitness is now a significant part of James’ life, progressing from a hobby to a career. He believes anyone can start working towards a healthier lifestyle. Regardless of age or current ability.James is always keen to share his knowledge and has featured in publications such as Your Fitness, Healthy and Hello! magazines.
